PERI solution
A total of 30,000 sq. ft. of SKYTABLE was utilized to efficiently co mplete the ten-storey project. SKYTABLE was selected for its ability to minimize stripping time and maximize upward progress. By moving large slabs in one crane pick, crane utilization was optimized, while the repetitive layout of large tables reduced infill a reas, resulting in reduced wood consumption and improved productivity. SKYTABLE not only maximized efficient crane time but also allowed for greater resource allocation to the forming level. Additionally, it provided winter protection that remained on the formwork, eliminating the need for constant disassembly and reassembly.
The BR Shaft Platform allowed for all types of stairwells and elevators to cycle without the need for a secondary platform. It eliminated the risk of personnel and objects falling and increased the available access area at the level being worked on. As a result of these systems, the general contractor could close off sections of the building during winter, allowing site workers to progress to higher floor levels.
To compliment the wall and slab formwork, the implementation of safe and efficient re -shoring eliminated the need for additional equipment, streamlining the construction process further. Overall, PERI's formwork solutions played an indispensable role in adhering to the timeline for Solstice on the Plains. This stunning housing complex is set to welcome its first residents in July 2023.
