The University of Manitoba’s Bannatyne campus is undergoing a transformative expansion, redefining the heart of its health sciences hub. Guided by consultants Prairie Architects Inc., Crosier Kilgour, and KGS Group, the project will introduce state-of-the-art facilities, including the Dr. Gerald and Reesa Niznick Centre for Dentistry, slated to open around 2027, along with new medical education spaces. These modern labs and clinics are designed to accommodate more students, foster interdisciplinary learning, and strengthen community connections through amenities such as a new childcare centre, reflecting a bold vision to centralize and elevate health sciences on campus.
