Herridge Feedermain Valve Chambers, Mississauga, Ontario
Feedermain valve chamber constructed in only 2 pours
To meet the increasing demand for water in the west half of Mississauga and Brampton, a new water feedermain is being constructed from Lorne Park Water Treatment Plant to Herridge Reservoir in the City of Mississauga. Included in the scope of work is construction of line valves and chambers at selected locations. Using RUNDFLEX circular wall formwork the forming contractor, Curb-Con Inc. out of Woodbridge, ON was able to pour the entire shaft in only 2 pours. PERI supplied MULTIFLEX for 6.50 m high shaft slabs as well.
